UHealth Teams Invited to Showcase Process Improvement Projects

The UHealth Process Improvement Team is launching its first Process Improvement Showcase and welcomes individuals and teams from across the University of Miami Health System to participate. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to get involved.

The showcase allows for teams to display and share their process improvement success stories with colleagues from all areas of the health system. Special recognition and awards will be given to the most innovative and effective implementations of process improvement principles and practices that deliver exemplary business and/or customer experience improvements.

Important dates:

• March 9 – Application deadline for 2018 showcase

• March 12 – Notice of entry confirmation and showcase packet sent to all participants

• April 16 – April 20 – All participants to check in with PI office to review progress

• May 31 – Lennar Foundation Medical Center Showcase

• June 1 – Medical Campus Showcase

Process Improvement Learning Session Feb. 23

Join the process improvement team for a hands-on session on process mapping on Friday, February 23, from noon to 1 p.m., in room 872 at the Don Soffer Clinical Research Center. No prior experience is required. Participants are welcome to bring their lunch.
