Dr. Julie Valenzuela Joins the Department of Surgery

Julie Y. Valenzuela, M.D., joins the DeWitt Daughtry Family Department of Surgery, at the University of Miami Health System and Miller School of Medicine as assistant professor of surgery. Dr. Valenzuela’s research will focus on trauma and global health, with clinical specialties in trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care.
