American Tinnitus Association Tours UHealth Ear Institute

The UHealth Ear Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine hosted board members and staff of the American Tinnitus Association on Friday, April 27.

The American Tinnitus Association toured the UHealth Ear Institute to build synergy between the two organizations.

The purpose of the tour was to educate members of the association on advances in the prevention and treatment of tinnitus by examining the best practices in place at an academic medical center.

The UHealth Ear Institute is one of the busiest centers of its kind in the United States and is an internationally recognized center for research in all forms of hearing loss and vestibular balance. The American Tinnitus Association is the nation’s foremost and most trusted organization committed to finding cures for tinnitus and hyperacusis.

The tour helped to promote the synergy between the two organizations and their dedicated medical professionals and researchers who work with and within the tinnitus community.
